A system architecture for distributed monitoring: sensor nodes over LoRa, a local Gateway designed to keep working offline, and optional cloud connectivity.
A distributed monitoring architecture built from reusable NWIREDCORE hardware products.
The Gateway architecture is designed to support:
This describes the platform architecture and design intent. Platform software development is ongoing.
Cloud connectivity is intended to extend the system with remote access, long-term storage, multi-site aggregation, remote applications and external integrations.
Basic local operation does not depend on cloud connectivity. These cloud capabilities are part of the platform design; software development is ongoing.
The hardware products are reusable building blocks that can be combined in different system configurations and together form the hardware foundation of the Remote Monitoring Platform.

Field and crop monitoring across an agricultural site: soil, microclimate and equipment data collected from distributed sensor nodes and available locally and remotely.
Explore agriculture pilot opportunityRemote site, perimeter and infrastructure monitoring: condition data and event or intrusion detection at locations without reliable power or connectivity.
Explore remote monitoring pilot opportunityLong-running environmental and research measurement at remote or off-grid locations, with data retained locally and optionally aggregated across sites.
The platform architecture is defined. The Gateway and LoRa Hub hardware designs and manufacturing packages are complete; the Autonomous LoRa Sensor Node three-board architecture is defined and its hardware is in revision before prototype manufacturing. Hardware prototypes have not yet been fabricated or validated, platform software development is ongoing, and pilot deployments are a future milestone.
Opportunities connected to the platform. Full details are available on the Partners page.
Partners to help take the platform from designs to validated prototypes and first deployments. Support can include prototype financing, prototype purchase commitments, engineering and integration resources, and access to deployment environments.
